The campaign to improve the Breast Screening Service in Hendon continues

Continuing with the campaign to improve the Breast Screening Service for women in Hendon, Matthew and Mike Freer, the Conservative candidate in Finchley and Golders Green, hosted a coffee morning for local women with special guest Sandra Howard.

Last year’s survey of women in the Hendon constituency helped to determine the state of the North London Breast Screening Service. This complemented Mike’s campaign for the rebuilt Finchley Memorial Hospital to have a digital breast scanner in a purpose built static screening unit.

Matthew said “The issue of breast screening and general cancer care is something that crosses constituency boundaries. Our two campaigns show that Mike and I intend to work on many such issues for the benefit of all residents locally.”
