During a recent meeting with Colindale residents, Matthew Offord the Parliamentary Candidate for Hendon and the Deputy Leader of Barnet Council discussed the level of crime in the local area and the need for CCTV cameras. 

Following this meeting Matthew Offord was pleased to let the residents of Colindale know that the Conservative run Barnet Council has identified two sites along the Edgware Road to site the new CCTV cameras.  These cameras will cover the areas of Rushgrove Avenue and Colindeep Lane.

Matthew Offord said:

"The Home Office has admitted that crime across the country is going to get worse.  However, I am pleased to be ensuring that we are able to tackle the causes of this crime in Colindale by introducing these new CCTV cameras."
